WEEK 4
LECTURE -
The lecture was centred on how to enhance business operations by using Business Intelligence. The lecturer talked about the need to  understand the areas of 'Big Data, Threats and Opportunities, Continuous Planning, Databases & Business Intelligence, Advantages of the Data Approach, Effective Management of Databases, Data Warehousing, Data Marts, Business Analytics,  Decision Support Systems (DSS), Information Systems: Expert System, Architecture of a DSS, Intelligents, Machine Learning, Information Visualisation, and Graphic Information Systems.
The lecture has taken us into the depth of how information Systems are used in the Business World to get services, goods and general data moving to the people who need it to satisfy their needs and wants.

SEMINAR -
The seminar for today is about using Excel formation to work out numbers to arrive at the desired results. The tutor helped us with the formulae.
 Group Work -
We started work on the company we have chosen to research. The come is G. Baldwin & Co. We had a meeting to discuss the next step of developing the facts we have gathered. Another group is scheduled for today at 14:30 for more discussions.
