WEEK 8 - 19/03/18 - 23/03/18

LECTURE -
A video on five trends shaping the future of the Information System was shown. We learnt about business processes and routines on the collection and use of both organisational and personal data, operating procedures, precise rules on data storage, distribution and use so that there is no misuse of such data by any employee.
We learnt that Information Technology and organisation influence each other in the areas of

• Technical - being social structure that processes resource from the environment to produce outputs 
• Behavioural - like rights,privileges, obligations and responsibilities balanced over a period of time through conflicts and its management.and solution.

We learnt the five types of Minttzberg Organisational Structure. These structures are 

• Entrepreneurial
• Machine bureaucracy
• Divisionalised bureaucracy
• Professional bureaucracy
• Adhocracy

It was exciting seminar. We learnt so much for future use.

SEMINAR -

We are taught how to use Excel Functional to create Pivot table by using information in Excel. After the tutor led practice, we tried our hands on it by ourselves. This exercise has helped me to know how to use data to create pivot table by using Excel Function. 

Group Work -

 We also started creating our PowerPoint presentation. We decided to meet together on Saturday 24/03/18 to finish the presentation. .
